Days … poems by Alice B. Clagett

Published on 15 February 2019

Dear Ones,

Here is a set of early poemlets …

. . . . .

tiny poems by Alice B. Clagett
amongst her early works

A tree graced a hilltop was a nipple on a great green breast.

Sunset’s aftermath: clouds lie on the sky like lead on steel
false dawn: stars stand on the sky like ice on water
midday: sun sits on the sky like paint on paper.

Sunlight on a srittered windowpane etched
a crystal dove in firelight.

. . . . .
